Grand Rapids HipHop?:

To be hip hop, you must understand hip hop! Do the research... Hip hop is a music genre and cultural movement which developed in New York City in the early 1970s primarily among African Americans and Latino Americans. Hip Hop's four main elements are MCing (often called rapping), DJing, graffiti writing, and breakdancing. Other elements include beatboxing, and hip hop fashion and slang.

About Me:

I've been a native of Grand Rapids for 19yrs, graduating from Ottawa Hills in 1996, and moved to Milwaukee in 2002. I brought an album out under Speak Life Records in Grand Rapids, MI, (now FIREPROOF in which the CEO is MOE MONEY MCCOY), in 2002 entitled "Be Thankful" MOE MONEY MCCOY produced the album, but I decided to break away from the label, due to various reasons. No Beef or Hard Feelings. Moe helped me a lot as a person.

Gutter plans to introduce a positive and inspirational dose of entertainment into the community. While entertaining listeners and viewers, Gutter hopes to enlighten its followers about the road to transforming negative situations into positive according to God's will, while at the same time feeding the real entertainment hunger many have felt for an extended period of time.

Minister, poet, songwriter, motivational speaker, and president D Crawford founded Gutter Enterprises LLC in May 2008. Gutter plans to introduce a positive and inspirational dose of entertainment into the community; by providing inspired, influential heartfelt music, documentaries, stage plays, short films, and community awareness videos; just to name a few.

Why Gutter???

Gutter means an impoverished and degraded existence or way of life; therefore many thoughts come to mind when you hear the word "GUTTER.” Some relate the word to violence, cruelty, perversion, deceit, and manipulation. Others may relate the word "GUTTER" to the hood, ghetto, poverty, sickness, and hopelessness. At Gutter Enterprises LLC, we narrow it down to two words; OUR TESTIMONY! Through the Grace of God, those who are affiliated with our company, chose not to be a product of their environment; however, chose to defy the odds by not engaging in the negative, ungodly behaviors that they so often witnessed while growing up on the streets. Consequently, they're ambassadors for Christ, informing the world through song, books, video's, documentaries, short film, and other forms of entertainment, that God can utilize those who have been outcast by many; due to the society from which they came.
