The world of hip-hop is made up of foundations represented by stylistically regional hip-hop genres - East Coast, West Coast, the Mid-West, and the Dirty South. Every few years however, a hip-hop act emerges to interrupt the shine of conventional hip-hop. This year Fireproof has arrived to introduce the Michigan streets to the hip-hop world. The past few years have been full of contribution for the quiet state of Michigan. Almost overnight, the Great Lakes state has become an innovative ground for hip-hop culture. While noteworthy talent such as Eminem, D12 and Slum Village have proudly represented Michigan on the radio and in the Clubs; Fireproof will bring the uncharted aspect of Michigan streets to the forefront with their Debut album Rags II Riches. The creation of Fireproof is the culmination of events that began in early 2001. Moe Money McCoy (Moe McCoy Jr.), and Cash Boy (Javin Love) were born, raised and still reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Moe Money McCoy was performing at a release party where Cash boy attended. Shortly after GS aka Cash Boy and EMc aka Moe Money McCoy started working together. Moe and Cash produced and recorded their solo albums. The 2 then decided to become a group and recorded a mix tape. They began to develop their craft and recognize their potential to have an effect on the hip-hop world. From that point on they were known as the Fireproof. After their first album "Rags to Riches" They received "Album of the Year", "Best Radio single", and "Best Club Banger" from The Grand Rapids Hip Hop Awards. They have film their own movie called "2morrows Never Promised" along with a soundtrack called 2NP featuring the hit song "Like Me". This group has a promising future in Hip Hop as the only Fireproof Hip Hop group in the game. Look out for FIREPROOF! WTF ROB S DISS ME ON THE RADIO?

I woke up and got call after call about Rob S dissin me on the radio. I was like WTF! This cat has my number and everything if he had beef he could have called me a talked. I mean I usta look up to this dude! He threatened my life more then once on the show cuz he was believing so he say she say. Fuck it though its all good I made a song back to him on that shit. Day off back home!

We had a few days off so I came home to Gunru took my kids shopping and spent all my damn money lol. Its coo though I make it for them! So then went they went 2 bed I went 2 check out AB and Coconut Brown live wit Support, Ryck Chymes, Nixon, and more. I just wanted 2 b a fan that night and they all rocked the house! I caught a Nixon t shirt and everything. Plus I saw Wis in the house! She had on some bangin ass boots! I should have took a pic!

Back then, things were different. But I'm glad that we all can encourage each other. Especially remembering mc battles. That was our time, I was just the chosen one at the moment. It seems the anointing to M.C. has been bestowed upon Fireproof. Alot of that stuff that you guys do is not only smart, but also undeniable. I got some favorites.
